G5京昆高速公路广绵段扩容工程建设“加速度”
G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Guangmian Section Expansion Project Construction Accelerates


The G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Guangmian section expansion project starts in Zhoujiahe, Guangyuan (south of the Heishuitang hub interchange of the Lanhai National Expressway), connects to the planned Beijing-Kunming Expressway Shaanxi-Sichuan border to Guangyuan section expansion project and the corresponding section of the existing Lanhai Expressway, and ends on the southeast side of Weicheng Town, Mianyang City, connecting to the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Chengmian expansion project under construction. It is 123.984 kilometers long with an estimated total investment of 29.1 billion yuan. The entire line is built to the standard of a six-lane expressway in both directions with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

On April 7, the Sigongliang Tunnel of the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Guangyuan to Mianyang section expansion project was successfully opened.

In addition, the Caojiawan Tunnel, the first tunnel to be started in the project, has been basically completed and is currently undergoing final finishing work. It is expected to be completed by the end of June.

At the construction site of the Tongjiang River Bridge, a key control project of the project, workers are stepping up work on the continuous beam of the bridge.

As of now, the Tongjiang River Bridge has been completed by 63%. It is expected that the right section will be closed in June and the left section will be closed in August. The G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Guangmian Expansion Project is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2025. After completion, the project will become another fast channel from Chengdu-Chongqing and even Southwest my country to Central China, North China, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and will be of great significance to Sichuan's smooth northward Sichuan-Shaanxi Corridor and give full play to the function of the large channel. G5京昆高速公路广绵段扩容工程，起于广元周家河（兰海国家高速公路黑水塘枢纽互通立交南），接拟建的京昆高速公路陕川界至广元段扩容工程和已建兰海高速相应路段，止于绵阳市魏城镇东南侧，接在建的G5京昆高速成绵扩容工程，全长123.984公里，估算总投资291亿元，全线采用双向六车道高速公路标准建设，设计速度为120公里/小时。

4月7日，G5京昆高速公路广元至绵阳段扩容项目司公梁隧道顺利贯通。

另外，该项目首座开工的曹家湾隧道也已基本完成，目前正在进行最后的收尾工作，预计6月底全部完工。

而在该项目的重点控制性工程——潼江河特大桥的施工现场，工人们正加紧对大桥的连续梁进行作业。

截至目前，潼江河特大桥完成比例63%，预计右幅6月份合拢，左幅8月份合拢。  G5京昆高速广绵扩容项目预计2025年建成通车。项目建成后，将成为成渝地区乃至我国西南地区通往华中华北、京津冀的又一条快捷通道，对四川畅通北向川陕走廊，充分发挥大通道功能具有重大意义。（绵阳市交通运输局）
