When people tell me that I made a mistake in Spanish #shorts

¿Entiendes el chiste o la broma? Aquí tenemos vocabulario de banco o finanzas y la idea de darle importancia a la opinión de la otra gente.⁠
⁠
Cuando tú pones dinero en el banco en una cuenta de ahorros, acumulas interés (o intereses en el plural). Y cuando te importa la opinión de alguien, puedes usar el verbo ‘interesar’ o ‘tener interés’ o ‘estar interesado’ en lo que otra persona dice o piensa.⁠
⁠
‘Generar interés’ aquí tiene doble significado:⁠
⁠
✅to generate interest (acumular dinero en la cuenta bancaria)⁠
⁠
✅to care about someone’s opinion (I’ll put it in my bank account and see if it generates any interest, see if I care about with time).⁠
⁠
Los errores son muy importantes al momento de aprender un idioma. ¡No te preocupes si te equivocas! ¡Sigue aprendiendo! Y mete los comentarios de los ‘haters’ en tu cuenta bancaria y a ver si te generan algún interés.⁠
