Introduction to 555 Timer IC

In this video, I’ll introduce you to the 555 timer IC, which is one of the most popular IC that every hobbyist electronics should have heard of. I will explain what it is, what are the applications of this small IC, the 3 basic modes of multivibrator circuit which can then be applied to the 555 Timer IC. There is also a demonstration circuit of 555 Timer IC in astable mode to blink a LED where I examine the output pulse signal of the 555 with an oscilloscope.
