I am live streaming right now. Doesn't "Bug Bounty" sound so much cooler then "pen testing?" I mean those of us who are techie misfits know we are not accepted by paper geeks. I am proud to say that I did all of the tech stuff before the paper gods took control. I was lucky to have that experience. Network Chuck's interview with Stok was great. Stok thinks like I do when it comes to this stuff. Stok inspired me to just go for it and so I will.

Learning how code interacts with hardware and software will really help you understand what you are looking at on the screen. Find resources that are within your budget and that you can relate to in order to benefit the most from it.

CompTIA - downloaded the Linux +, Security +, and Pentester + for reference because there is a lot of information on those documents.
I opened up a HackTheBox and joined their Discord to check out jobs and hopefully be accepted in the community soon.
