I learned this technique back in the 90s by my cosmetology instructor in high school!
This was probably one of the most exciting techniques I’d learn. Then once getting into the industry and working along other stylist I realized it was really popular.

I noticed when doing it on my hair or my clients that my press lasted longer, it was shiny, silky and had crazy amounts of body!
The results will only work if your hair is freshly washed and doesn’t have a lot of styling products in it like oils and hair spray 😅

And please don’t be me and wear it longer than 3-5 minutes. I slept in Saran Wrap thinking I was going to wake up with a silky wrap but woke up with a curly Afro. This was well over 18 years ago when I tried that 😅😅
