In this session, we’re getting our hands dirty with a messy, unstructured PLC application. Step-by-step, we'll transform it into a modular and organized PLC program. I’ll show you exactly which tools you can use in TIA Portal to organize OBs, FBs, FCs, and DBs in a structured way. And as we go, you will learn the basics of modular thinking for PLC programming and pick up an easy system to organize your own applications.

In this workshop, I’ll be using TIA Portal, but the principles of modular PLC programming covered in this session can be applied to any PLC application (Rockwell, Beckhoff, B&R, Schneider, Omron,...).

So whether you're new to TIA Portal or just want to get better a modular PLC programming, this session is full of tips to help you bring order to the chaos!
