I have HR+ HER2- breast cancer which has been treated a couple of times. I keep learning more and more as time passes while handling it. Most importantly, it is the type of cancer that is always attempting to mutate which means at any time any treatment might stop working. Time is a commodity and a privilege to have on any given day. I'm working towards probably a mastectomy surgery and reconstruction afterwards right now in my life. I also need a shoulder replacement surgery on the same side of the body so this is all complicated. I can't lift my arm.

My breast cancer treatments were Kisqali 600 mg tablets and also Fulvestrant injections into each hip area. Ouch! Then I was told after the July 2024 latest bone scan, MRI, and nuclear medicine bone tests that the cancer is now metastasis. How nice to be told "you will die of cancer" by the nurse as soon as she walked in the room. Anyway I'm tough (yeah right). Then she told me I would be starting a new treatment called ENHERTU which is spelled exactly that way. Research it if you like to learn more about it. I had to wait another two weeks which added up to about a month without any treatment so it was painful.
