Haris Pamuk, 26, is a tour guide and hostel owner in Sarajevo. Having experienced the excesses of the Bosnian war for independence from Yugoslavia he knows the struggle for freedom and right of expression in the country is far from over.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is suffering industrially and economically from a lack of investment and opportunities for young and old. After the war ended, the Dayton peace accords divided the country's government and territory between different ethnic groups that were involved in the conflict - Serbs, Bosnian Muslims and Croats - creating a divided nation in peace, just as it was during the war.
Haris has hopes for the future but with conflict still bubbling under the surface and recent riots in the culturally diverse Sarajevo the result of the people's frustration at national government, Bosnia and Herzegovina needs its people united.
