A violent hailstorm hit the town of Alcar Paris in the province of Lida, Catalonia, Spain on April 19, 2025. In just a few minutes, an overcast afternoon turned into a devastating event that left streets, fields, and homes covered in ice. Residents watched as golf-ball-sized stones fell at an alarming rate, damaging crops, vehicles, and roofs.
