Video Transcript:
Step 1. Open a web browser, and then open the Synology DSM.
Step 2. Click "Control Panel" on your DSM home screen.
Step 3. Navigate to the File Sharing section, and then click "Shared Folder." The File Sharing screen is displayed.
Step 4. Click to select the shared folder that you want to delete from your Synology NAS, and then click "Delete." A window pops up asking if you're sure you want to delete this shared folder. Additionally, you'll be notified that any snapshots of this shared folder will be removed and will not be recoverable.
Step 5. Click to indicate that you understand, and then click "Delete." You'll be prompted to enter your Synology DSM account password.
Step 6. Enter your DSM password, and then click "Submit." That shared folder and its contents will be deleted from your Synology NAS immediately.
