Transcript : What if we been reading the book of revelation with the wrong mindset? I know for me, I been reading it like a doom and gloom book, the anti christ, the mark of the beast, the return of the Nephilim, asteroids and the wrath of God. But recently I have been reading it through a different lens. The scriptures tend to be more eye opening when we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us. Did you know the word anti christ isnt found in the book of revelation? It talks about the beast that rises out of the water in chp 13. But in 1 John chp 4:3 it says that the spirit of antichrist is coming and is already in the world!"

Let me get back on track. So the first chp and the first verse reveals the book to us. The word "revelation" which is mostly translated, is the Greek word "apokalypsis" which the root word is "apokalypto", that's where we get the English word apocalypse. I know for me when I hear that word it's usually tied with the zombie apocalypse or the end of the world. But the Greek word just means to uncover what was veiled or unveiling, to make known, make manifest.

I truly enjoy how the Passion reads "This is the unveiling of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to share with his loving servants what must occur swiftly. He signified it by sending his angel to his loving servant john". So this book is the unveiling of Jesus our Lord, It's manifesting making known uncovering Jesus to us. Now ponder on that!
