Here’s the truth no one tells you: Most people giving advice don’t know what they’re talking about.
And it’s easy to spot them - they’re the ones who’ve never done the thing you’re trying to do.
Here’s the formula:
1️⃣ Do the Opposite of the Crowd. If everyone’s telling you to play it safe, take the job, or wait for the “right time” - RUN the other way. The crowd rarely wins big.
2️⃣ Filter the Source. Before you take advice, ask yourself: Has this person done what I want to do? If not, ignore them. Period.
3️⃣ Find the Proven Players. Surround yourself with people who’ve been where you want to go. Their advice will save you years of trial and error.
Reddit threads and random comments from keyboard warriors? That’s not mentorship. Most of those people are too scared to go after what they want - so they’ll tell you it’s impossible for you too.
