CM ASKS JKSSB TO EXPEDITE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has directed the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) to fast-track its recruitment process, emphasizing the need for a time-bound and transparent system. Key points from the meeting include ¹ ² ³:
*Removal of Bottlenecks*: CM Omar Abdullah stressed eliminating delays and improving efficiency to restore public trust and provide timely employment opportunities to the youth.
*CCTV Surveillance*: The Board has proposed conducting all future recruitment examinations under CCTV surveillance to ensure fairness and transparency.
*Class IV Recruitment*: Delays in Class IV recruitment were flagged as a major concern, and the Chief Minister urged the Board to address these issues urgently.
*Strengthening JKSSB*: The CM called for improving facilities and strengthening the Board's legal and administrative frameworks to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
*Government Commitment*: The government is committed to transparent governance, aiming to fill vacant posts swiftly, enhance institutional efficiency, and provide jobs to qualified youth in J&K.
