ESP32 is by far the most used microcontroller when it comes to IoT projects, home automation and robotics due to its low-cost , integrated bluetooth and Wifi, and easy-to-program interface. It does have a steep learning curve when compared to Arduino Uno.


ESP32 does have some downsides compared to other microcontrollers...
but still it is the go to option for many projects.
