India devastated: Flash floods, landslides hit Ramban burying homes, vehicles and people under mud

On April 20, 2025, heavy rains in Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir, India, caused severe flooding and landslides in many places, burying houses, oil tankers, trucks under the rubble. At least three people including two children were killed in Sariba village located on a high point on the outskirts of Ramban town, another heavy rain hit Daramkund village, about 20 km from Ramban town, about 35 houses were destroyed and 10 houses were flooded, many people are still missing.
