to solve this problem iana has introduced ipv6 address

What is IPv5 used for?
IPv5, or ST as it was known, was used by the likes of Apple, NeXT, and Sun to
guarantee service across a network. ST was good at maintaining communication while
transferring specific data packets on select frequencies. IPv5 was merely created for
experimental reasons, specifically for video and voice transmissions
ipv5 were came with name internet stream protocal but people not used it or because
of some other reason it was unsuccesful

ipv6 is not succesor of ipv4
ipv4 is in binary / ipv6 is in hexadecimal
it is 32 bit / it is 128 bit
