The Interstate 70 killer was a relentless serial killer who claimed 6 lives in a span of less than 30 days. The still unknown killer struck in broad daylight at busy strip malls and shopping plazas. He was spotted by several witnesses who noted his creepy demeanor and large gun. His thrill kills targeted brunette retail employees working in small shops along the highway. Despite this clear and distinct MO, many police departments were slow to catch on.

Even today the case is unsolved. And a lot of questions remain. Why these stores? Why these towns? Join me along his route from I -70 in Kansas City to Wichita, a portion of his raging road trip that has divided detectives from the very start. Why Wichita? Why zig zag back and forth across the Midwest?

In 1993 and 1994, three shootings at retail stores in Texas were connected to each other. Were they also the work of the I-70 Killer? Detectives are split 50/50. What about the 2001 slaying of Billy Brossman? There was so much death and so few answers...

DNA eventually ruled out several suspects, but can it be used to identify the I-70 murderer? What about the thousands of leads and tips? Investigators believe that someone knows something that can help. There’s a $25,000 reward for information in the case.
