Hello, everyone! The full release of Version 1.5 is just around the corner, and the hype in the community is *real*! With exciting new banners and updates on the way, there’s plenty to look forward to.

But hold on—it gets even better! Before we even dive into Version 1.5, we’ve already got the Version 1.6 drip marketing to look forward to, dropping on January 19. The future of Zenless Zone Zero is looking brighter than ever!
In today’s video, we’ll explore potential Version 1.6 characters, speculate on rerun banners, and even sneak peek at Version 1.7 and beyond. Buckle up—this is going to be a fun ride!
Starting with Version 1.6, all signs point to a new faction entering the fray: Virtual Idols! This group is rumored to introduce three new characters, though their ranks are still unconfirmed. Here’s what we know so far:

Rokudo Sariel: The group’s leader, rumored to be a Physical Stun DPS character, wielding dual maces. Her kit might revolve around disabling enemies while dealing heavy damage.
Yutane Johiel: The main singer of the group, said to be an Ether Anomaly character with a unique ability to transform into a robot. This could bring an exciting new mechanic to the game!
Chinatsu Remiel: The lyricist and an Ice Support character who buffs teammates. She’s expected to use a megaphone as her weapon, which sounds both creative and fitting for her role.

Now let’s talk about reruns. Previously, we speculated that we’d see Ellen and Zhu Yuan rerun, but instead, Qingyi replaced Zhu Yuan. For Version 1.6, there’s a strong chance we’ll see Zhu Yuan in phase 1 and Jane Doe for 2nd phase. Of course, this is purely speculative, so take it with a grain of salt!

Looking ahead to Version 1.7, leaks suggest we’ll finally see a new male character—and it’s almost certainly Vlad Hugo. If you’ve followed the 'Von Lycaon story quest, you might recognize him as the leader of the Phantom Thieves Mockingbirds, a criminal organization with a Robin Hood-like philosophy: robbing the rich to help the poor.

The Mockingbirds are rumored to be a new faction, much like the Virtual Idols in Version 1.6. As for Vlad’s kit, leaks suggest he’ll be an Ice DPS, but that’s all we know for now.
Interestingly, Vlad Hugo also made an appearance in the Version 1.5 trailer, and his name was mentioned during the Bangboo vs. Ethereal event—further teasing his eventual debut.

Another intriguing character spotted in the Version 1.5 trailer is a girl with purple hair wielding an umbrella-like weapon. This might be Vivian, a leaked character name who reportedly has a similar build to Bernice and Belle. If true, she could play a key role in future updates.
Version 1.7 is shaping up to be the final version before 2.0, and there are whispers about major characters dropping soon. Two big names stand out:

Big Daddy: A long-anticipated character who might debut before the 2.0 update.
Pulchra: A leaked Physical DPS character connected to the Sons of Calydon faction.
If both Vlad Hugo and Big Daddy release in Version 1.7, it’s going to be an economic disaster for ZZZ players!" And Let’s be honest—Hoyo is not that generous. They're likely to milk these characters just like they did with Miyabi. but I hope that’s not the case.
