【蔵王温泉スキー場2024】日本最長10キロコースで絶景とインバウンドの大行列に驚いた　Zao ski resort

English subtitled. Filmed February 17, 2024. This was my first visit to the Zao Onsen ski resort in Yamagata Prefecture. I heard that Zao has Japan's longest 10-kilometer course, so I skied from the top to the bottom. (There is also a 10 km course at Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort in Nagano Prefecture.)
Due to the warm winter in Zao this year, we could hardly see the famous juhyo ( ice tree) as of February 17. I also witnessed a huge line of foreign tourists who came to see the juhyo. It made me think about the merits and demerits of inbound tourism.
