Advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation and robots, are helping U.S. manufacturers improve productivity, quality, and efficiency to enable greater business growth opportunities.

Purdue MEP, The Center for Industrial Research and Service at Iowa State University (CIRAS), and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) partnered to provide a free webinar series to educate manufacturers about the benefits and applications of advanced robotic and automation technologies in manufacturing operations. These events were offered through the I-SMART project, which was funded by an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Services grant award from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Our goal for this series is to educate manufacturers about these advanced technologies, provide assistance with defining the business case for these solutions, and offer resources to help with deployment.
