Mike Waltz, the Trump administration’s National Security Advisory is out at the National Security Council, along with other staffs, including his deputy, Alex Wong, Fox News reports Thursday. Waltz previously served as a Florida congressman. He was scrutinized when the Atlantic’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently added to a group chat in Signal with other national security leaders, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, as they discussed the US strikes against the Houthi terror group in Yemen. Waltz told Fox News, “I take full responsibility. I built the group.” Waltz last spoke publicly on Wednesday during a live cabinet meeting hosted by President Donald Trump.
