EQ8WAQF or Eq8 FTSE Malaysia Enhanced Dividend Waqf ETF, is Eq8 Capital Sdn Bhd's ("Eq8") fifth exchange-traded fund ("ETF"). It is the world's first Waqf-featured ETF, which aims to achieve capital growth and income distribution by investing in high dividend-paying stocks in Malaysia. The Waqf feature lies in the income distribution element, whereby 50% of the income distribution is payable to investor, while the remaining 50% is allocated as Waqf Asset. The Waqf Assets generated via EQ8WAQF will be managed by Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia as the Waqf Administrator.

Like other Eq8 ETFs, EQ8WAQF's passive management strategy is guided by predefined rules to construct its portfolio as provided by its Benchmark index provider. The Bursa Malaysia Securities' listed ETF allows for democratised access to all types of investors. Its impact-investing nature that drives meaningful contributions to the socioeconomic sector in Malaysia is what sets EQ8WAQF apart.
