There is the volume of inventory in the Orphan Wells Association, the Redwater Energy Supreme Court ruling and a multitude of terms and definitions to decipher. Recent media coverage has brought these issues to the public spotlight and there is a lot to understand and make sense of. What does it all mean and more importantly, what can be done about it?

About the speaker:
Juli Rohl is passionate about finding creative and collaborative solutions to problems. She earned a BSc in Geology, and an MBA from the University of Calgary, and employed those skills for over a decade in various roles within ConocoPhillips Canada. In the fall of 2016 she focused her attention into ReGenerate Alberta, a social enterprise aimed at finding novel approaches to repurposing old oil and gas infrastructure. As a Fellow with the Energy Futures Lab, she invests a significant amount of energy into co-creating the energy system the future requires. Juli is also a member of the STRAAD Consulting team, specializing in Organizational Effectiveness solutions that help their clients realize their potential.
Juli is excited to return to her alma mater to share her perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue on the oil and gas liability situation in Alberta.
