Ufactory Demo in Neurorobotics Studio

Ufactory Servo Positioning
To read the Ufactory Arm’s position, create servo position cortical areas! Since the robotic arm has 6 servos, the dimensions of the servo sensors should contain 6 channels accordingly. The arm’s positioning can be adjusted by activating specific neuron blocks.

Suction Machine
Activate the robotic arm’s suction cup by designating a “suction” and “release” neuron block using a miscellaneous cortical area.

Connectivity Rules Briefing
This video provides a brief overview of the controls, reset values, and how to map multiple positions to one block.

Facilitate Servo Interactions
To initiate a desired behavior, create custom cortical areas along with connectivity rules to set positions.

Neuroplasticity Briefing
This video offers a review of block-to-block mapping, cortical area creation, adjusting PSP, and how to pass connection strength for robot memory.

NRS Application
Using the 90-degree arm, learn how brain power, servo position sensor, and servo position OPU cortical areas trigger the servo position OPU to remember the servo position sensors’ last position.

Use Neuroplasticity To Play Jenga
Using the genome you’ve created, you can now assign learned behaviors to the Ufactory Arm, such as playing Jenga.
