Master Underlying Fundamentals to Learn AI

Successful mastery of AI fundamentals means learning the math and physics underlying the central algorithms. In his quest for mastery, Einstein took two years to study tensor mathematics with his colleague and friend, Dr. Marcel Grossmann, before he could address general relativity. Students currently in an AI master’s degree program should focus on getting their projects completed and their Portfolio created before addressing this deeper study. Students who can plan a full-scale curriculum should invest early in math and physics, particularly statistical mechanics.
