By using Polar Array in AutoCAD you are able to create a laser cutter file for a snowflake quickly surround it with a circle and cut it out to get the desired result.
Tip: Try to avoid overlapping shapes as they can cut through too much material and make the snowflake unstable, finally play with the options in the ribbon panel to change the angle and the number of duplications.
