About Jason:

He didn’t want to pay $2,000 for MATLAB, so he became obsessed with Python.

Fast forward 25 years, and he has worked as a hedge fund trader, portfolio manager, risk quant, a CIO, and global head of data science and analytics, and an AI consultant. In August 2024, He published a best-selling book on using Python for algorithmic trading.

He founded PyQuant News in 2015 to help finance professionals and trader use Python for algorithmic trading and market data analysis.
