Adjusting the variables on your coffee machine is an essential part of the espresso extraction process. Unlock the rich, intricate flavours of coffee with the Barista Pro™ which allows you to adjust the shot volume and water temperature so that you can create barista-quality coffee suited to your taste.

How to adjust the shot volume (00:05):
1. Grind, dose and tamp your portafilter.
2. Press the ‘Menu’ button to enter the main menu.
3. Use the ‘Grind Amount’ dial to navigate through the menu to the ‘1-cup’ custom icon or the ‘2-cup’ custom icon. Press the dial to select.
4. Insert the portafilter into the group head and press the desired cup button to start the default pre infusion.
5. To customize the pre-infusion, press and hold the cup button you chose in step three for the desired pre infusion time, releasing the button to commence the extraction.
6. To stop the extraction at the desired volume, press the ‘1-cup’ or ‘2-cup’ button you chose in step three. The LCD and ‘Cup’ button will stop flashing and the machine will beep to indicate the custom setting has been saved.
7. The machine will then return to ‘Ready mode’. The custom setting can now be activated by pressing the desired ‘Cup’ button selected.

How to adjust the temperature (01:00):
1. Press the ‘Menu’ button to enter the main menu
2. Use the ‘Grind Amount’ dial to navigate through the menu ‘Shot Temp’. Press to the dial to select.
3. Use the ‘Grind Amount’ dial to increase or decrease the shot temperature as displayed on the LCD. Press the dial to confirm the desired temperature.
4. The machine will return to ‘Ready mode’.
