Press Brake Tending - Swivel Tool Changer

Vik Industrier of Norway make large metal facade panels for buildings. They wanted to increase flexibility in their pressing & forming operations and have installed a URSVIKEN folding machine controlled by an ABB robot with RSP tool system.
The metal sheets are up to 4m long and 1m wide & required two operators to lift them.
To further utilize the robot's flexibility it is equiped with a RSP swivel with tool changer that allows it to place pre-prepared tooling into the forming machine thereby reducing downtime.
