Lighting a Night Time Scene in Source 2's Hammer [Part 1 / 4]

In this video tutorial I'm going to cover the entire process of lighting a night time scene in Source 2, using Half Life Alyx Workshop tools.

Starting with a pre made scene as a daytime lit environment set in the city of Porto, we'll be covering different kinds of light setups in Source, different kinds of lights and fog settings, materials, prefabs, 3D skybox, Skybox texture, bakes, post processing and the philosophy behind lighting dark game environments.
