On VOA 60: U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that the U.S. will stop "all federal funding" to South Africa and offer a fast-track citizenship pathway to South African farmers. The U.S. will be open to farmers "seeking to flee that country for reasons of safety," the president said on his Truth Social media platform. His remarks follow a February executive order responding to South Africa’s Expropriation Land Act aimed at making sure equitable land access exists across racial lines and does not involve confiscation without compensation.
