How can you compare two FIX specifications?

In FIX Workspace, there are two different types of comparison, depending on whether you are comparing two versions of the same document title, or whether you are comparing two different titles.

If you are comparing two versions of the same document, then the cleanest picture FIX Workspace gives you is inlined track-changes. You can select two different versions of the document, and the app will show them either side-by-side or as an inline differences. In editing mode, you can also accept or reject changes, just like in Microsoft Word.

Things become a more challenging though when you are comparing two different documents, this is because two different documents, from two different firms are unlikely to use the same structure and layout.
