Mental Health Awareness: Schizophrenia

The month of July focuses on Mental Health Awareness, this gives us the opportunity to come together to show our support and efforts for those who suffer from mental disorders. Schizophrenia is a severe and debilitating brain and behavior disorder affecting how one thinks, feels and acts. Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder that makes it difficult for a person to distinguish between real and false perceptions and beliefs. Symptoms can be so severe and limiting that everyday activities can be difficult to complete.
