organic grief

Grief comes in waves - sometimes it crushes you so hard you can barely breathe, and other times it fades into the background. That's what organic grieving is: letting yourself feel grief in whatever form it comes to you. Remember, the grieving process isn't linear.

Those moments when the pain subsides aren't setbacks - they're necessary breaks your mind and body need. You can't rush grief, but by allowing yourself to experience it naturally, you're moving at exactly the right pace.

This applies to both regular grief and ambiguous grief. When you let the process unfold organically, you're going as quickly as you can. Don't chase the grief - let it come to you.
