Custom G1000 Arduino Mega Update – Time for a new design?

There seems to be a global shortage of Atmega2560 microcontrollers. I'm not certain how much longer they'll be in production, so I'm thinking it's time for a redesign around a newer and cheaper microcontroller. More details in the video...
