Hof Push Ups March 5th at 6:50pm CST

Only about 60 push ups this time.

I feel a little less drive because I don't know my exact objective. I feel I may not be doing each push up with perfect form. Therefore I'm a little uncertain on how to execute with excellence in order to gain the most benefit.

Upon watching Jesse from Midwestern Method, I learned that doing the push ups with out air in the lungs is an excellent way to train the body to perform in a low oxygen environment. Similar to how athletes train at the top of a mountain where there is less oxygen present.

Lately I have been just going down, and then pushing up with all my might in one fast explosive push, and then letting myself drop down without control. And counting those as "push ups".

Should I go for 200 of these style push ups?

It does make me feel strong when I do this style. Instead of super slow and controlled perfect form full range of motion, complete awareness of every muscle being used, just go for as many as possible as fast as possible. Fuck form. Fight for my life.

Upon observing myself from this angle, I notice I am not doing full range of motion. I noticed this from my peripheral vision while I was recording myself and it distracted me from my conviction of just going all out, fighting for my life, punching with fists of fire.

I enjoy the speed at which I go.

I think now that I have written my new goal out, I have more clarity and will be more confident in my execution for tomorrow's video.

Go for 200 floor fists of fire.
