Case-Based Reasoning | Introduction and Applications in Sports Science | Recommender Systems

In this video I provide an introduction to case-based reasoning and some applications of this recommender systems technique in sports science, in particular my PhD research in endurance sports and marathon running.

Hello fellow data science enthusiasts. I'm a first year Machine Learning PhD student studying Recommender Systems applications in endurance sports, in particular for marathon runners. I have a YouTube channel about my experience doing a PhD, the lifestyle of a PhD student, tips I've learned along the way, and now I am incorporating some information about my research area. This video provides an explanation of case-based reasoning which is a topic in cognitive science and recommender systems that I use to solve a variety of problems in my research. I explain some real world examples as well as some examples of how I use it in my studies.
