Description: This video presents the experimental result of the proposed soft impact protection system implemented on the hands of the humanoid WALK-MAN. It is validated by 1) falling experiment of WALK-MAN with a scenario such that the robot is fallen onto an inclined desk. We also show the performance test results of 2) inflation speed tests, and 3) comparative impact tests with the rubber-based passive protection.
